Flowblade is an open source, non-linear video editing program for Linux. The primary author and lead developer is Janne Liljeblad.
I contribute code to the project from time to time. Some of the highlights:
- Added support for NTSC fractional frame rate timecode calculations
- Added atomic file write support for critical files to improve reliability
- Added structured audio timeline export to Ardour for post-production sound editing
- Added USB jog/shuttle support
- Various bug fixes
One of the cool things about open source software is that if you want to add a feature to a program, you can actually add it!
